Frequently asked questions

What is subletting?

The owner lets the property to Marbella House, which in turn lets it to travellers, with the owner’s written consent. The owner remains the owner; the agreement sets the duration, the terms and each party’s role.

Who looks after the guests?

We do: bookings, welcome, questions during the stay, cleaning between stays and routine upkeep.

How much can my property earn?

It depends on the property, its location, its condition and the time of year. We do not give any figure before we have seen the property and talked about your expectations.

Is a licence needed to rent to holidaymakers in Andalusia?

Yes. In Andalusia, a home let to tourists must be registered in the Andalusian Tourism Register (Registro de Turismo de Andalucía, RTA). It is a point to check before any letting begins.

Does my property have to be in Marbella?

Our work is focused on Marbella and its districts, from San Pedro Alcántara to Cabopino.
